wines of Friuli are often not considered, nothing more wrong. We are in the presence of bottles can create wonderful eomozioni. Tonight I wanted to try a product of Marco Felluga, a famous producer located near Gorizia.
40% Pinot Blanc, 35% Tocai Friulano, Sauvignon 15%, 10% yellow Ribolla for this bottle, just opened is able to immediately pull out good hints acacia flowers, grapefruit and accompanied by a background plant and sweet notes. Very balanced nose, beautiful end of apricot.
The mouth is full, the acidity is not amazing but still nice. Flavors of grapefruit combined with a finish of vanilla probably due to aging in barrels.
Very simply a drink after dinner. A bottle harmonious, balanced although still quite expensive.
know what's good for the wine? What always surprises, always. As human beings, in a sense.
PS
The man with the shopping bags.
Coolio, Gangsta's Paradise .
Update: had been a fund. I tried it today. The wine has improved: less crude and much softer. The acidity is attenuated (default) but the nose is enhanced. Not bad.
