In Rome, I would say in general throughout the country, there is an atmosphere of low-Empire. Now seems to see a sort of continuous projection of something very similar to Fellini's Satyricon.

Mama is a place that is located in Lawns: This is a local youth who has a simple food but well cared for. The room is furnished in a minimal but attractive.

I tried it a few nights ago and I was sorry. Mind you, this is not particularly elaborate, but a kitchen is often the simple dishes to reserve the best surprises. Do not be fooled, the cuisine is very complex and needs to be good so much attention and skill.

I throw myself on the fish (with license speaking) and I was not disappointed. Interesting the first, a plate of spaghetti with anchovies and pecorino cheese, combined apt and very tasty dish. The cooking was excellent, something that does not occur in all restaurants. The second one was a nice fillet of sea bass accompanied by excellent potatoes. Really simple recipes, as I said, but that does not disappoint. The sweet

deserves a specific discourse: an eggnog simply heavenly. Served in a glass had a very special little cream base that blends perfectly with the sabayon.

The wine list is good, honest mark-ups.

A place I would recommend also because not limited to dinner, it is possible to make a nice breakfast and Saturday and Sunday brunch.

Try it, provided you are able to find a place with the car on Saturday night in the Prati district, something on which we do not bet on it.
