Marchesi de Frescobaldi I am a producer famous throughout the world. Suffice it to say that the wine bar that bears their name is also found in Harrods, London. We're talking about words of one of those brands in the world in some way, representing Italy. Classic Tuscan imprint of the last period, that of supertuscan. It is not a case that the Americans like them so much. The
Pomino is one of their white base: it is a blend of chardonnay and pinot blanc. Beautiful color, light yellow, brilliant. Nose but not very interesting: it feels very vanilla, I think, due to use, maybe too much of the wood. Rosemary and fishing. The scents are not overwhelming, however.
The mouth is very cool, but instead is totally lacking in acidity. Nice but short. Discreet minerality. Wine is still very young though.
Excellent as an aperitif, in my opinion makes her a good impression with the vegetables without too much oil or hard cheeses.
Try it but do not expect too much.
