Background: Every time I try a Venetian wine or Franciacorta, I call my friend Charles, convinced that he is an expert in this kind of bottles. In other words, I attribute to him (wrongly) a skill that he, as an absolute scoundrel, he can not have. When I saw this wine I immediately called to ask for an opinion. Flaunting a safety of other times I was politely but strongly discouraged to buy it. But I have not heard, he was convinced that the usual braggart who actually drink alcohol only Tavernelle.
Here, it cost me to admit it, because after reading this will laugh at me, but he was right.
That's right, the rogue was actually right.
The wine is nothing special. Pleasant but nothing more. Lacks acidity and is also weak in the mouth. Beautiful nose of fishing, but weak on the tongue, too weak. A distant hint of honey and candied fruit. Final (very short) of almonds.
I do not know if they are more angry about the disappointment caused by a wine from which I expected much more, or (very likely) be compelled to account Charles the scoundrel.
Tiromancino, is important to me.
